Mission Statement

Greenville Transit System (GTS) is a public transit system committed to meeting the transportation needs of Greenville and Darke County citizens and visitors in a friendly, clean, safe and affordable way without discrimination in any manner.

About Transit

The Greenville Transit System (GTS) is a shared-ride public transportation system open to all residence and visitors of Greenville.

Rides are scheduled based on availability and on a first come/first serve basis. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available. Please advise the scheduler of special needs when making your reservations. The City of Greenville is the Grantee for Greenville Transit System.

Funding

GTS is funded in part by Ohio Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Administration.  Additional funding provided by the City of Greenville.  GTS is municipally owned and operated.

Notifying the public of rights under title VI

The City of Greenville operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.  Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the City of Greenville.
