To this end, the Greenville Police Department will provide the highest quality of law enforcement possible and will hold ourselves accountable to the community and national professional standards. The Greenville Police Department also recognizes that our most valuable resource is our people and will strive to create a positive working atmosphere where creativity and participation abound. We will serve all citizens of this community, striving for excellence in all that we do. We will not settle for mediocrity or second best.

Crime Stoppers - "It's Worth Your Time, To Report A Crime"

In order for a Police Department to effectively prevent and solve crimes, we must rely on information and the participation of the citizen population who are affected by these crimes. The Greenville Police Department in cooperation with Darke County Crime Stoppers Inc. would like to remind everyone that cash rewards can be gained from reporting certain types of crime. An anonymous call which results in the arrest and conviction of the offender is all that's required. There is no caller ID and no calls are traced. The amount of the cash reward will be determined by the severity of the crime and a review by the governing board of the Darke County Crime Stoppers Inc. Let's all work together to reduce crime in our area.
